The C-Gig race is for junior rowers up to 14 years of age.

The C-Gig race is for boys and girls. The bendy course runs three kilometers from the
Wohleibr├╝cke Bridge to the RC Bern.

U15 Boys & Mixed (aged 14 or younger)
U15 Girls U15 (aged 14 or younger)

Conditions

All C-Gig competitors must be able to swim at least 300m. They must also have a valid licence from their national rowing federation.
Insurance is the responsibility of the competitors.
Swiss entrants without a licence must submit an application form to the SRV in Sarnen before Armadacup entries close.
All juniors must have a signed medical approval form and signed consent from a parent or guardian.
Foreign rowers without a licence must sign a liability waiver at the Race Secretary's office.

Coxes may be older than 15, and do not need to weigh in. Experienced coxes or coaches are preferred.

Entry fees

The standard entry fee is CHF 60 per C-Gig. Clubs must submit all their entries at one time.
Clubs entering a large number of boats pay a maximum total of CHF 450 for all sculls and C-Gigs.
The entry fee must be paid at least a week before the race to the Bern Regatta Association's bank account.
In exceptional cases (e.g. technical problems with the bank transfer), the entry fee can be paid in cash on race day.
Please follow these instructions, in order to prevent queues at the Race Secretary's office.
Crew members receive Armadacup T-shirts when they return their race numbers.

Prizes

The fastest three boats in each category receive medals. Four juniors will receive the unique opportunity to team up with two top rowers per c-gig for a 30min. excursion on the river Aare. The crew will be selected among the competing c-gig teams. The row will take place in between the last Armadacup-finisher and the award ceremony.

All prizes must be collected on the day.
